Default Question about effect of river proximity on weather.

Given the fact the Standiford Field station is only 1.5 miles closer than
the Bardstown, KY station I am wondering if the proximity of the Ohio River
from either station should be a factor in my decision as to which station I
should be using. Just on the point of humidity alone there is a vast
difference between the humidity in Louisville vs. the humidity in Bardstown,
KY and being that I have a lot of electronic toys that are humidity
sensitive I am wondering if I should play it safe and use the Standiford
readings or should I consider the Bardstown readings as more pertinent to my
location. Thanks for a clue.

Sounds like a toss-up to me. Is there any way you could monitor both
stations for a while and see which seems closer, on average, to your own
conditions? I suspect the difference between the two stations will
usually be slight, except on days when the air is pretty stagnant. But
that's just a guess.
