2040

Just ventured outside and was assaulted by a very warm easterly wind.
Temperature is 15.2 deg C for heaven's sake.
I've had cooler *days* in summer LOL.

Central heating is still off and I can't see it going on for the first time till
well into November now.
Ah well at least I'm saving a stack on oil!

Will.

Same here in Essex, Will. Currently 17.8C at 2100z! I was cutting grass
most of the day though the wet ground made it heavy going early on.
Incredibly the driest the ground seemed was the two hours before dark
at 1800z - you would normally expect a heavy dew by that time at this
time of year!

That would mess up the Met Office winter forecast, which has been based
on some 'old' weather chief who has been rapidly collecting logs all
autumn :-)
