"Warning over tsunami surfing

AUTHORITIES in Malibu, California, are passing out tsunami safety
brochures warning residents not to surf one.

The pamphlets tell residents that tsunamis often follow large
earthquakes and advise: "Never go to the beach to watch for, or surf
tsunamis."

The consensus here is that they should be compelled to surf them, thus
removing their genes from the pool.

Incredible! Californians probably think tsunamis are the
latest seafood delicacy, or something.

I would n't be too hard on the west coasters.Surfers will do anything to
chase the once in a lift time 'big wave',and ,even in an un doped out
moment, consider riding a tsunami.
Watch the film 'Big Wednesday' next time it's on TV, to borrow from another
sport -it's bigger than life and death,

Do you also feel that Stormchasers, potholers, hang gliders, Ellen Macrthur,
mountain climbers and others that take self-indulged risks, should be
removed from the gene pool as well ? Or is it just Americans?

Well neither as it happens. The remaining option was the correct one.

As I understand that reponse I take it it's another case of "lets hate
Americans". I really can't see any other rationale in your attitude.

As I specifically ruled out that possibility above, you are obviously
not looking very hard are you.

Be more specific then and less with the sophistry - remember I'm not as well
educated as you.
