Hi,

After 48 hours of snow form Thursday night to Satuarday night we had 25 cm
of snow. Since then we have had another 24 hours and now have 40cm of
snow!!!- the most I have ever seen. Lowest temp has been -7oC so far. And
every day since Thursday has been an ice day. My two boys are having trouble
walking in it.

We drove to our local town today and in the UK all the roads would have been
stopped by now. It does help having snow tyres on which make so much
different. But even with the snow ploughs working flat out the roads where
quite bad. we brought some snow chains today. But didn't need them yet!!
Thats for when the roads are really bad!!!!

It looks like it could be snowing for some time here looking at the radar,
and then some more on Friday looking at the charts.
