Brian.
You are better off looking at the here & now, ie. the window. As you so rightly said, total fantasy! Just thinking, if we laugh and ridicule these charts for the next eleven days. Might it actually happen????? Regards. Len. "Brian Wakem" wrote in message ... They're certainly very variable at the moment...
When I last looked the 17th (three days before this) had a Bartlett-high style anticyclonic west-north-westerly.... which I suppose at least would be significantly sunnier than now. Nick |

What it does prove is that it's mathematically possible to get a proper cold
snap rather than the reality which is them media pretending this is a cold winter! Dave "Richard Dixon" wrote in message ... Brian Wakem wrote in : Total fantasy I'm sure. http://homepage.ntlworld.com/b.wakem.../Rtavn2762.png Now that would spell a happy 31st birthday for me!! Richard |

Brian,
Looking at the 12z GFS ensemble members the operational run, on which the chart is based, appears to be a very cold outlier. So yes, quite a good chance of it being 'total fantasy' but what a fantasy if it were to occur!! Steve "Brian Wakem" wrote in message ...
