Must have been when I blinked.

What a load of rubbish!
NW Scotland perhaps in an easterly spell, There may not be much
or indeed any snow, but I would certainly expect it to be cold.

Forgetting soccer because that's a load of old balls anyway, it's just as
silly 7 or so days out to state that a particular location in the UK will
somehow escape some below average temps etc than to predict that it
definitely will freeze.

On the other hand, looking at much of the output of late, it is highly
likely that IF the UK does cop an easterly incursion beginning the back end
of next week, the Midlands northwards to Scotland would in fact be most
likely to be the focus of 'Arctic Britain' style reportage.

Anyway, what do I know ? I don't follow football.
