Will hopefully be able to put on more spectral channels later this week and also a European visible. Just a pity I can't share
the 15min ones with you.

Just out of interest the cost of setting a MSG system up is relatively cheap. The amount of data you get is fantastic plus the
much improved image quality. The Hi Res Visible will be superb in spring and summer.

It does require a good spec PC but the rest of the equipment is fairly cheap to buy.
80cm dish, LNB, DVB card, licence is free for self education and EKU plus Tellicast receiving software from Eumetsat costs around
£80 I think.
Software for processing images about £100.

The UK incidentally has got the highest number of private users in Europe. If anyones got a bit of spare cash and a back garden
facing south then images every 15 minutes can be yours.
Don't forget Meteosat 7 will be switched off on June 14th 2006.

OT maybe but interesting.
I thought I was having the same problem but I have just loaded a sort
of secondary firewall designd to control JavaScripting in Firefox. An
add-on called NoScript. It acts like a cookie handler.

You right click and choose to allow or bar scripts. It took/still takes
getting used to.
