In message , Lawrence
writes Okay Gianna you can fall chains of silver and fall for chains of gold , you can fall for pretty strangers and the promises they hold. As for me And I'm neither left or right I'm just staying home tonight, getting lost in that hopeless little screen. But I'm stubborn as those garbage bags that Time cannot decay, I'm junk but I'm still holding up this little wild bouquet: Democracy is coming to the U.S.A. That's for that **** Bill. But who are the lyrics by ? Larry fash; I rattled your cage after all. Tell me though, just between us it won't go any further honest. Do you have a life beyond the PC and the Daily Mail? Surely you must have at least one mate....well maybe not. Hang on what about that other sad case Gavin? I bet you two will have something in common, I bet you'd be the only other one who'd think there's a point to his web site. Have a look, bet you like it......someone must do.... or else it really would be the waste of space it currently appears to be. www.gavinstaples.com HTH Cheers -- Bill |

Is there any particular reason why you have to be so insulting and so inconsiderate towards other people? We all form opinions about other people but you just cannot make this type of personal comment 'public' : how you can live with yourself after having done so..... |

You know Robin when I saw your's and Bill's posts I'd assumed the subject
matter was about being OT and rattling on about Hi-Fi and was going to apologise. So in a way I was quite releived. As for Bill I suppose he does have a point, I mean what sort of person spends hour analysing individual post and then forms an opinion about them, hasn't he got better things to do? I suppose some of us try and say something whether it's interesting or not. I've personally got into the habit of trying to be flippant and vaguely funny, Bill on the otherhand can only define himself by being insulting. That's all very fine but Bill that's all it is, nasty, there is no humour, no redeeming features and just serves to leave a bad taste. You'd be banned on TWO! "Robin Nicholson" wrote in message ... Even if ' Bill ' has 'a point' this is not the place to post hurtful and unnecessary opinions in the way that he did. And, unfortunately, saying that he has a point and then making the above statement, is unpleasant. How do you personally know he spends' hours' analysing each post? Are you there? Do you know his circumstances? Would you, for instance, make such a statement if he was a once active person now wheelchair bound with all the sadness that can bring initially? Would you say this if he was battling with cancer and needed something to distract his fear of death? Or if his only child had been tragically killed? No one on this forum needs anything other than thanks for contributing, and if that contribution is deemed trite, unnecessary or whatever by you then simply pass on to a posting that, in a science forum, does allow you to reply or enquire about. I don't understand plenty of postings from the more learned people but I am going to learn, and not destroy people by actions that are inappropriate. I suppose some of us try and say something whether it's interesting or not. I've personally got into the habit of trying to be flippant and vaguely funny If you say so. There are plenty of opportunities to have fun, but it has to be in a considered way that shows a basic warmth towards other people. It costs nothing and should make the donor feel proud of his standards. Robin |

Nah Larry old fash, it doesn't take an hour to sum you and Gav up, half a second is enough. Risible, that's you two, still it takes all sorts. What I find most interesting is that the likes of you and Gav are allowed to frequently make your throw away neo-con quips and nothing is said. Yet whenever your crap gets challenged the whinging starts.
