I don't know why I bothered to look, but I'm bored as the road is now closed
and I can't get out! Their snow risk chart has us down for 0% risk of snow this morning - 100% wrong. -- David Mitchell, 70m amsl, Langtoft, East Riding of Yorkshire. |

I'll post a pic of the pitiful excuse WE got for a snow covering later tonight on the blog. -- Rob Overfield Hull http://talkingtoomuchagain.blogspot.com |

Yesterdays BBC News forecast had the whole of the Fylde coast (Blackpool) as right under the snowfall last night, but the area didn't get a single flake! |

Can't you walk out? :-)
Will. -- No chance Will, though I could have sent the wife. :-) Road blocked by jacknifed lorries. Not too bad Rob A good 10cm snow which drifted initially, the problem was it accumulated quickly and during the rush hour. When I got to York they claimed to have had a couple of inches, but I didn't believe them as there was nothing left. Took a colleague 3 hours to get in from Hull. There's plenty of snow left on the Wolds, but nothing elsewhere, I drove back through heavy rain from York which turned sleety on the Wolds, but hasn't got here yet. Max today 2.0c, currently 1.2c, DP now +1c. -- David Mitchell, 70m amsl, Langtoft, East Riding of Yorkshire. |

It deposited about an inch and a half or so. -- Rob Overfield Hull http://talkingtoomuchagain.blogspot.com |

Still full snow cover, but won't last the night by the looks of it. -- David Mitchell, 70m amsl, Langtoft, East Riding of Yorkshire. |
