I don't know why I bothered to look, but I'm bored as the road is now closed
and I can't get out!
Their snow risk chart has us down for 0% risk of snow this morning - 100%
wrong.

How bad is it Dave? I'll post a pic of the pitiful excuse WE got for a snow
covering later tonight on the blog.

Yesterdays BBC News forecast had the whole of the Fylde coast (Blackpool) as
right under the snowfall last night, but the area didn't get a single flake!

No chance Will, though I could have sent the wife. :-)
Road blocked by jacknifed lorries.
Not too bad Rob
A good 10cm snow which drifted initially, the problem was it accumulated
quickly and during the rush hour.
When I got to York they claimed to have had a couple of inches, but I didn't
believe them as there was nothing left.
Took a colleague 3 hours to get in from Hull.
There's plenty of snow left on the Wolds, but nothing elsewhere, I drove
back through heavy rain from York which turned sleety on the Wolds, but
hasn't got here yet.
Max today 2.0c, currently 1.2c, DP now +1c.

Ok, there's now a pic up for everyone to peer at (follow the link in the
sig) of the snowscene in Hull at about 0930 this morning. It deposited
about an inch and a half or so.

Thoroughly miserable out there now with persistent moderate/heavy sleet,
temp up to 1.5c.
Still full snow cover, but won't last the night by the looks of it.
