Could anyone recommend some books on meteorology?
I know only what I have gleaned from the weather forecasts, but am a life science graduate so i'd like to find some books that will be reasonably demanding. I'm really interested in UK/European/Scandinavian weather. Andrew |

:Could anyone recommend some books on meteorology? Not off-topic. Try the uk.sci.weather FAQ to start with http://homepage.ntlworld.com/booty.weather/uswfaqfr.htm - Section 5A Look back through the posts for a thread started by "Astraman" on January 5th and called "newbie post - books on weather that you could recommend". You might find some of the replies there of interest. Colin Youngs Brussels |
