Default Books (might be OT)

Could anyone recommend some books on meteorology?

I know only what I have gleaned from the weather forecasts, but am a life
science graduate so i'd like to find some books that will be reasonably
demanding.

I'm really interested in UK/European/Scandinavian weather.

Andrew
