I have been trying to get a series of pages containing the map on this
link: http://www.weather.org.uk/charts/UKCpf120.gif to open so that I
can see conseutive forecasts. Without opening 7 differnt browsers, can
it be done?

Or do I have to save the images? This latter being more suitable than
messing with so many otherwise redundant programmes.

Can you not have them on separate pages in the same browser?

I shall have to see about setting up Firefox to save a row of tabs and
open seven or however many I need to watch the rate of change.

While you can save a bunch of tabs to open on one bookmark, I haven't
bothered to try it as that is the default in Opera. Or rather you can
easily set it to open all the tabs you last had open when you used
Opera last.

They don't auto update. I don't know if that would happen with Firefox.
If I tried it in AOL the window already opened to that page would be
promoted or maximised.

Navigator tends to seize up on me and I won't use Internet Explorer.
But having them as tabs is the best format rather than different
browsers or browser windows -which is the same thing, isn't it?

I'll post this on the Firefox forae.

Well you can make Firefox open links in a new tab in the same
window....... I suppose you could then just flick through the images by
clicking on the tabs.

Just the job thanks.

Whose site is that I would like a CD or better still DVD of back
numbers if they are available. A reanalysis like the Wetterzentrale
site offered of different data would be favourite.

It would probably cost an arm and a leg from the MetO.

I tried dowloading a file from he
http://www.weather.org.uk/gtsdata.htm to see what it does but it opens
with a file type: .boy

Any idea what that is? Every Google search seems to link to a pervert
site or news about something of that sort.
