At least he spelt "trough" correctly this time.

Alright Joe *******i can seemingly talk lots of gibberish. Then he can at
times come across as very aggressive; especially to poor old Ken Reeves on
"Point Counter Point". There are times his outrageous forecasts fall flat on
their face, but then there is the very odd prediction that is 'spot on'. In
essence Joe can occassionally be a right *******i!

He means that blocking may happen in the week of 23rd January (next
week!) and that it's our "last chance corral" for a decent outbreak of
real Winter weather... before things start to warm up [as they
invariably do these days] in February.

The chances of blocking occurring will be (he thinks) heavily
influenced by what happens to the present colder trend in Eastern
North America. No promises then, just a little teaser from Joe the
B---.

I have to say, Joe B's style is somewhat reminiscent of Russel Grant the
famous Astrologer.

Failing that, does anyone know where I can get a copy of the random word
generator he used to produce his report?

I quite like his style, he doesn't try to forecast 3 months ahead yet
he tries to reflect his thinking into possibilities ahead taking into
account trends, SST's and even what's happening in the Southern
hemisphere..

I think he is Italian, hence the odd English at times, but his English
is 100 times better than my Italian.

That's harsh a slice of roff justice, I think.

Credit where credit is due... last weekend, Joe was certainly alive to
the possibilities - which are still there - and he's *really* teasing
us this week. Oh yes!
