I am not a buff, but have a keen interest.
I assume TS is thunderstorm, but what are cg's

Is there a glossary anywhere so I can keep up?

Thundery shower - torrential rain, sheet lightning - two of, lasted
about 15 mins from 13.35

'Indian Summer' thread - though in my view it's far too early to be
calling anything happening over the next couple of weeks an 'Indian' or

It doesn't seem to have reached us in Coventry John, though I did
witness thunderstorms in Crick and Dunchurch this afternoon. The RR
showed showers in streets parallel to the NW wind with Coventry in a
dry street with a lot of sunshine (6.4hr up to 5-00pm) but it still
only made it to 17.9C this pm.
