I may have missed mention of this, but when I went to:
http://www.wetterzentrale.de/topkarten/fsecmeur.html I see the progs now go to 240 hours. Is this new? -- Mike Coleraine 55.13°N 6.69°W posted 14/10/2006 08:31:28 GMT |

Yes, it's relatively new...a couple of weeks now I think. Helps make a good comparison with the GFS especially now that the weather is becoming interesting with a potential wintry flavour! Joe |

Hi Mike, I belive it has been going out to 240 for over a week and i think it was either mention on here or another forum I look at. Should be a good addition for the coming winter. Hi Mike. Yes, it's relatively new...a couple of weeks now I think. Helps make a good comparison with the GFS especially now that the weather is becoming interesting with a potential wintry flavour! Thanks, Joe (and Chris Mantle). I tend not to be on *as* much of late so must have missed mention of it. Joe - I did email you ages ago after you sent me good wishes back in June, but it bounced and didn't get to you. -- Mike Coleraine 55.13°N 6.69°W posted 14/10/2006 09:40:25 GMT |

I've e-mailed you now - hope you get it. (Otherwise just remove the NOSPAM from this newsgroup address and you should get me okay.) Hope you'll keep us updated if the cold air incursion next week does bring some early wintry stuff to your area! Joe |

Well, in terms of the extended products being in the public domain as routine. Good to see. (reminder that the source allows comparisons to model runs over the previous 10 days via the drop down menu) http://www.ecmwf.int/products/foreca...sl_uv850_z500/ Jon. |
