Some photos taken over the last few days here in Herefordshire the latter
two slightly off topic but certainly a result of the weather this last
year.....

If u have the opportunity today to get out and enjoy the spectacular Autumn
colours ...take it !

Some super pictures Ian. I'm sure it's been asked before and I can't
find the information on your website, but what camera do you use?

I have a Minolta DImage7, but I got it fixed once (for free) but now it
won't focus/lock on in wide angle, and manually setting the the iris
doesn't give the sharp image. So I am thinking of getting another
camera, possibly smaller but don't really know what to go for. My other
dilemma is I have a number of CompactFlash cards I bought for it and
would like to use them if I bought a new camera, but looking through I
can't find any new cameras that use CompactFlash!

Thanks

Hi Keith

The Camera is a Nikon D200 and all those pics a 12-24 mm F4 lens ( Tokina ).
as I often say before you are looking at a few of hundreds that I have
taken - Digital lends itself to that...

Don't get too hung up on the compact flash - manufacturers are going away to
support larger capacity..

Happy snapping ..

Ian

I have. I've decided to sell my camera and look at your pics instead :-)

Looking at these brought a smile to my face like no other 'straight'
pictures that I can remember. Excellent!

Reminds me of a particular night staying at the Arocher Hotel ? I
think --not a stones throw from Loch Long --watching the wind throwing water
from the Loch over the car park - it was wet in the Bar too as I remember -
spent many a time in your area - beautiful too..

Very good, Alan. It had me thinking of logs, chocolate logs :-)

Here's another, taken on 10th October, which you may have already seen
if you read my monthly reports.

This one I was pleased with as the crepuscular rays show up very well
(and there's a bit of colour).

I've looked at yours again, they still generated a smile of delight and
I've 'padlocked' the post.
