Finner army camp in west Co.Donegal reported a gust of 89mph at 16Z. Bit
blowy here as well:-)

I,m not far from Carlisle Airport, i,ve have 53knots so far, around
61mph, certainly picked up as soon as the rain cleared about 1hr ago.

Hi, Paul,

New AWS system or old one? Two gusts up to 55KT(64mph) here so far with
max 10min at 35KT(41mph). I expect the worst / best will come when the
wind veers to around 250 degrees with some Pennine lee waves, currently
it is 200deg.

I see the Gt Dun Fell 17Z ob was 23075KT(86mph) no max gust mentioned!!
If that comes down here, Copley will be no more!
