Penzance - Exceptionally Mild
After reaching 14.3C yesterday, a January record for my site (virtually
no foehn effect on mild W-SW winds here, so although 13C is common in January, 14C is exceptional), it only dropped to 11.2C last night, the warmest January night since 11.5C on 6/1/99. Graham Penzance |

Yesterday evening the temperature was dropping slowly from a high of 13.8C down to 10.7C then at 9pm it started rising again and by 11pm it was 12.5C. It stayed at that until dawn and then dropped to an overall low of 11.7C at 9pm. It's all been topsy-turvy! Currently at 10:20, 11.9C, RH 80%, DP 8.5C, 1018.6 mb (R), Wind 8.0 mph WNW, Rain last 24 hrs 0.5 mm. |
