Wind has picked up markedly here in the last hour and now is gusting well
over 40 mph (which is pretty windy for my location).

Currently at 10:40, 8.2C, RH 81%, DP 5.1C, 992.3 mb (F), Wind 20 mph WNW
Gusting 42 mph.

I recorded 59mph at approx 05.00 this morning, this is on the Sussex Coast
at Bexhill-on-Sea

http://www.rpj-bexhill.demon.co.uk/wpf.htm

The above site will give more info. Must have been some squall, though last
summer I did have a very similar one but that went fro zero to 50mph. You
could see the sea in two different states as the squall went through - rough
and smooth!!!

It woke me up.
Time for bed.

What's Mailgate like these days? I have the free version. Is it worth
speculating on the open market?
