Summary "Dimsal"

Is this a new weather term for something not too pleasant?

If it's any consolation, at the other end of the Isles it is dimsal too. The
sun is strangely absent this morning hidden behind cloud that appears to
have moved up from France, and there are spots of rain in the air as well.
Plus it's a bit on the cool side.

Currently at 11:00, 12.8C, RH 73%, DP 7.9C, 1020.7 mb (R), Wind NE 4 mph.
0.0 hours of sun so far today.

Nick,
You spoke too soon yesterday!!
Still sun and haze here, we're far enough away from the coast. Up to
103 hours now for April(5 hours today so far). Remaining cool by night
though. Expecting around 15C today with a touch of an easterly sea
breeze, but up to 20C by Sunday as the wind veers southerly and off
the land.

Gianna

we are due to be in Berwick on Tweed tomorrow for a weeks golf. I fear we
may struck by the dreaded har, cold and dismal.

Whata difference from my planned golf this afternoon,
fog burning off and 14c....hohum

It could be (-:

I added 'dim' and 'dismal' and got 'dimsal'.

.... and it still is ... quite mournful.

Just back from York. Hazy sun until 2 miles west of here, but we've got a
thin fog with a max of 11.1. Dense fog this morning.

Sounds like you're a dimsal in distress.
