Default When is best time to cut back or relocate garden plants?

Hi, as the subject line says, I am going to cut back and relocate some of
my garden plants this year. So I was wondering what or when is the best
time to do so? Or does it vary with different plants?

Than ks

Bob,

Depends what you want to relocate, but the best time for moving plants
is the autumn. Cutting back depends on the plant. I tend to leave
this year's growth on until the spring to give more winter protection.

This is really more suited to a gardening newsgroup :-))

Why not join uk.rec.gardening. It is excellent.
