Wokingham 0900z 350 12/26kt 13km -RA 2Sc015 7Sc020 8Ns030
+6.3/+3.9 QFF 1004.2 +2.2 in 3hr
RMK Rain almost continuous since 27/09z, apart from small
break 2100-2140z (on TSR). Mostly slight or moderate throughout,
apart from heavy 1944-2012, 2308-15, 2333-39z. However,
rates were only up to 8 mm/hr maximum.

09-09 Max 11.8 Min 5.6 Grass min 5.3
Rain 26.8 Sun (00-24) 0.0
RMK Highest daily rainfall in May since 1985.

Much wetter only a little way to your west, Bernard:

09-09h totals he
26 May 12.7 mm - all fell 20z-09z
27 May 37.7 mm

Event total 26 May/20z to 28 May/09z 50.4 mm and counting.

The 27 May rainday fall is the highest daily fall in May since 1932 on
local daily records (gauges within 6 km of this site), and the third-
highest since those records commenced in 1910. The only wetter May
days on the record have been 40.6 mm on 13 May 1915 and 37.8 mm on 21
May 1932.

To date (it's still raining) 29 hours unbroken rainfall (at least 0.2
mm in each clock hour).

Air min this morning in unbroken rr/RR 4.6°C at 0520. Earth temp at 30
cm (tube thermometer) has fallen 2.1 degC in the last 24 hours.

Rain very slight and intermittent between 09 and 12z, then
becoming continuous, occasionally mod 13-14z, petering
out again now. Total 1.9 mm 09-15z (TBR)
