following the earlier post, nice to see Dave on Fair Isle, what a location

Talk about deja vu ... it was foggy when the Fair Isle bit was filmed,
and its foggy now - has been all weekend. A 48 hour temp range of
just 1deg: 10.2 down to 9.2!

As soon as I saw it, Fair Isle with 80 inhabitants and there was some
guy with a weather station, I knew it was going to be our Dave!

Dave, Fair Isle
Fog still with us, though thinning sligtly. 400m sky obscured at
1226z. Not typical weather conditions for early June - we normally
see the best of the year's weather around now. July and August are
normally our foggy months!

Last flight into Fair Isle was Friday afternoon. This morning we had
a total of 41 persons to get off and onto Fair Isle. An extra sailing
of the Good Shepherd this morning has reduced this by 11 - including
eight yougsters returning to high school in Lerwick. Not sure how
many it will return with though as we haven't freed-up any bed in the
B&B accommodation!

Just to prove it isn't foggy up there all the time, this is Dave at Fair
Isle airstrip, (back to camera, yellow boots) on the previous Sunday (27/5)
acting as ATC, Met, Airport Manager, security etc (I've probably missed a
few job titles!)

I'm not sure I like the new livery, I think white was better. Besides,
having those words fly right over the house several times a day makes me
thirsty.
