Default Thunder Solihull and my poor roses

Torrential shower at 1420 with rumbles of thunder to the south west and
Stratford.

OT, my poor roses, they are decimated by last nights rain. I just managed to
dead head 4 buckets worth of petals.

They were at there best , bloody global warming, ( only joking)

Don't let them go to waste, turn them into wine!!

A drop of your rain would have been most welcome doon 'ere. I've only
recorded 3.1 mm of rain so far this June and the garden is dust dry
and me summer collies have gone all droopy in the hot sun today.

Yep, same here. My poor old Oranges&Lemons looks like someone's stamped
on it.

You have to be joking!!!

Just come in from a trudge over the moor, ground is sodden, garden is sodden and
my feet are sodden (water over my boots). 16.8 mm (AWS) since midnight with
frequent heavy showers.

June total 38.9 mm (AWS)

I wasn't joking until half an hour ago. Since then we have had a huge
downpour and now my monthly total has shot up to 17.6 mm!!!! I can see
me veggies recovering as I write.

It seems that all the rain has been over Exeter and to the west for the
passed few days. We've missed it all here.

Means I don't have to water the garden this evening, whey hey!

Sun's oot!
