I've only recorded 3.1 mm of rain so far this June and the garden is dust dry and me summer collies have gone all droopy in the hot sun today. ______________________ Nick Gardner Otter Valley, Devon 83 m amsl http://www.ottervalley.co.uk |

Just come in from a trudge over the moor, ground is sodden, garden is sodden and my feet are sodden (water over my boots). 16.8 mm (AWS) since midnight with frequent heavy showers. June total 38.9 mm (AWS) Will I wasn't joking until half an hour ago. Since then we have had a huge downpour and now my monthly total has shot up to 17.6 mm!!!! I can see me veggies recovering as I write. It seems that all the rain has been over Exeter and to the west for the passed few days. We've missed it all here. Means I don't have to water the garden this evening, whey hey! Sun's oot! ____________________________ Nick Gardner Otter Valley, Devon 83 m amsl http://www.ottervalley.co.uk |
