Chances are we're in for some significant weather here over the next 24
hours. Still not convinced, as some of these weather warnings over the past
couple of days have been not exactly accurate.
Looking forward to the rain, hoping that if it does happen, there is no
threat to life or damage for anyone.

Hard to believe, there isn't any lightning strikes nearby.

I just took this shot, looking to my north-east (here in N Devon)

The skies have been dark & threatening to my east for a number of
hours now.
It's all very slow moving out there

Uhm and I've taken a day of work to go fishing at Risby near Beverley, but
come what may I'm still going!

Don't worry if you can't get there, line fishing out the car window should
reap rewards. If you have a tow bar you might even have a go at trawling.
Don't forget some tinfoil, then wrap your catch and attach to the cylinder
block ready for tea when you get home - assuming you can get home of course.

Has it been dry with you? My brother near Market Rasen in Lincs had
recorded 113 mm so far in June. He'd like an opportunity to make hay!

Quite dry Jim, 158.9mm to yesterday and an hour til today's reading, so
probably 3 or 4 mm to add.
