Default Black bulb thermometer

Does anyone still use a black bulb thermometer and, if so, do you know who
still manufactures them/where can they be purchased?

Further to this, does anyone know of any remaining manufacturers of a Besson
comb nephoscope?

I'd be surprised if any have been manufactured within the last 40
years or more ... As I'm sure you know, they are *very* fragile and
there can't be many left these days. I have one which I use
occasionally, the serial number shows it was made and/or calibrated in
1954. It has to said that the value of its readings are questionable
in the extreme, but it's an interesting little backwater in
instrumental history ...
