Default Friday. Will it or won't it ?

Beebs weather talking of 8 - 10cm of rain on Friday for England and
Wales, with no sign of this developing system yet, I wonder how correct
the forecast will be ?

Well I do hope so. It's placed on the BBC graphics with the maximum directly
over me! Mind you it hasn't helped with the last 9 weather warnings but I
think this could be the one!
Dave, Laindon, S.Essex. 4mm in last 14 days.

I noticed that the BBC have suddenly started quoting the predicted
rainfall for tomorrow in centimetres - surely "80-100mm" or "3 to 4
inches" would have more dramatic effect?

I'm assuming that your post is ironic, but they should quote in
millimetres.
