Default What Has the Weather Stpoed You Doing ?

With the rain and the effect on parking & traffic, we will not be going
to the Royal Welsh Show tomorrow in Builth Wells as we have for many
years. I'm sure attendances at many events must be down.

Two trips to the cricket at Hampshire's Rose Bowl down the toilet.
Several Sunday trips with the gf cancelled.
Birthday barbie scrapped.

Think I have got off lightly, driving round have seen so many advertiesed
events locally just cancelled.

Jim, Bournemouth.

Still walking, still sailing, still gardening.

Nothing at all. Still cycling every Sunday, and some week nights.

This is Britain. It rains.

Exactly so. The stove is still on and I watched 'Oh Mr Porter!' on DVD
after a little weeding and a 40 min dog walk for the Labs. A good day
I reckon. I ignored the drizzle which I thought kept going for longer
than expected.

I think I'll win... getting fresh water out of the taps.

I haven't gone for a swim in the sea after work so far this summer,
though I have managed a dip or two at the weekends.

Other than that everything has been pretty normal; plenty of cliff
walking; lying in the hammock; a few bbqs. We seem to have missed any
really wet weather down here and on the whole it hasn't been that bad,
just hasn't been that brilliant either!

Indeed. However, I've been rained on, on every single long distance ride
I've done since 5th May, bar one. It gets a bit old after a while!

Dunwich Dynamo this weekend. Looks wet. That figures :-\
