The BBC forecasts five days by city (eg
http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/5day.shtml?id=3778) show poor agreement with the METO ones (eg http://www.meto.gov.uk/lib/includes/.../teesside.html) Generally I believe the more optimistic one G. Why the difference? Is the BBC computerised and the METO modified by a knowledgeable human? Merely different models? Weather channel is different again and currently seems to agree more with the Met. Office. Andrew (who hates driving in snow) |
