Default [WR] Dartmoor 28/10/07 (Wet, wind and fog)

Went walking around the Tors around Princetown this morning.
Continuous moderate driving rain and drizzle for 4 hours. Force 5-6 wind and
dense fog. Certainly a test for our walk leader's navigation skills. Moor was
sodden, at one stage we were wading through 6 inches of water for a kilometre
and then I slipped crossing a small river and got soaked - didn't care after
that! Not much rain at home though just 8.4 mm on the AWS.

Will.

HTF does one "wade" through 6 inches of water? That as bad as the phrase
"mini tornado"

LOL

I vary in height. When my forecast goes right I'm 10 foot tall, when it goes
wrong I'm 10 inches tall.

I also love pedants :-)
