Default Quite a change in the SW

So I go up this morning and seeing sunshine, donned just shorts and a
T-shirt, to walk the dog. I got 2 paces outside the door before my
mind was quickly changed for me. Brrrrr! A keen ENE wind was blowing
and suddenly it was back to 1 fleece weather!

There were a few spots of rain on the way out to Brixham this morning
and they are the precursors of more tomorrow; bright, dry and 18C now.
There's a weather advisory out for the SW tomorrow morning. Perfect
really, as the garden could do with some rain.

And to end the day, thunder and lightning on the leading edge of that
rain from the South. Very dark, heavy rain. Excellent!

Torrential rain. What a storm!! Heaviest rain we've seen in Dawlish
for a long time. In 10 minutes, the back patio is under 3" of water.
Terrific lightning and thunder to accompany it too! We've got the
lights on in the house.

The wind has consistently been coming from the NE to SE for the most
part of this month here in Leeds, with no rain since the 4th and non
forecast yet until after Monday 19th.
