Looks like a record low rainfall for the Isle of Skye for May 2008. Only
13.4mm recorded at Staffin on the north of the island and 24.4 mm at Carbost on the west of the island. Also interesting to note that most of this rain fall in one day on May 4. In comparison, rainfall at Carbost in May 2007 was 122.2mm (Then considered to be a "very dry" month) and for May 2006 total rainfall of 206.2mm. Alan |
