Default Warwick overnight temp

Well pretty much like here in West Sussex, with forecast temp of 0 - 2
lowest i recorded was 4.6 on top of that the forecast clear frosty night was
quite the opposite as i was woken at 07.00 by the rain lashing on the
window!

Rain now cleared.

We got down to 2.2C by 2300hr last night in Coventry with -2.4C on the
ground.
Thereafter skies clouded up as a weak occlusion passed by from the
east, very much in line with forecast charts from Friday morning, so
we shouldn't have been too surprised with the overcast start to
Saturday, Peter.

By the way, I have co-opted you to stay awake until 0300hr on Sunday
to see if any of the rain falls as sleet or snow in our region!

Cheers

Thanks for that Steve - I was wondering where the 'warmth' came from
And yes, I have similar thoughts re snow over tonight, although I'm hoping
a residue will allow dawn photos (in Warwick that is - I suppose mountainous
Hatton will remain covered until brunch!)
