Following the period of Sleet / Wet Snow here earlier this morning
which has now all gone due to rain, there have been some intersting falls in 3hr Barometer Pressure. Readings as follows: 03z = 1016.3mb 06z = 1011.4mb (-4.9mb) 09z = 1004.5mb (-6.9mb) and currently at 1245z 994.6mb (-9.9mb) Best Wishes Richard Horsham AWS |

Yeap, big drops in pressure - for Birmingham Winterbourne the figures this
morning we 00Z 1018 01Z 1017 02Z 1016 03Z 1014 04Z 1012 05Z 1009 06Z 1006 07Z 1003 08Z 1000 09Z 999 10Z 998 11Z 996 12Z 995 - so from 04Z to 08Z it fell by 12mb... "Richard G" wrote in message ... It normally is triggered once or twice a year and is usually accompanied by extremely strong winds. In this case there was virtually no wind when the storm signal sounded at around 7am. Where was the wind? Alan. |
