As usual here in Coventry, we are on the boundary of the "will it snow
or rain?" early on Thursday morning, so I guess I will have to set the alarm clock for 5-00am just to spot the sleet! The trouble is, there is every vhance of there just being some rain, but an almost even risk of some appreciable snow - so whatever it does locally, I will be in the dog house in the morning. The students and staff at Bablake want me to advise the Head to close the school, while the Head wants the school open! All to be decided by a 6-00am phone call, hence the need to be alive to the situation at 5-00am. Can't win, can I? Let's hope it rains - at least then, I keep the boss happy:-) Steve Jackson Bablake Weather Station Coventry UK www.bablakeweather.co.uk |

Hello Steve
No sleet or snow in Warwick today, but 5.8mm rain by 0900 Thursday. 5am - best time of the day surely(?) with SWMBO saying it was 'big rain' this morning, which cleared the cobwebs walking the hounds.
