Both private rain gauges:
Tavistock 53mm (low down on western side of moor) Postbridge (circa 370m asl) 85mm . Moorland streams/rivers are high, very fast flowing and dangerous (but the kayakers will love the conditions). Will -- |

![]() (Only!) 34.7 mm here in Okehampton read this morning, but the east Okement river is a raging torrent. 2 slight hail showers (late morning & the other at 1330) here but just Ci around now with temp of 2.2'C. Looks like it'll be quite icy by morning.
