Camborne radiosonde at 0000 UTC shows that a temperature of 4C at 400m asl
will be enough to kick off local Cbs up to 25000 feet. Whether that
temperature will be achieved is another matter of course.

The air is very unstable to sea temperatures as evidenced on the satellite
imagery.
Interesting stuff!

Thin snow covering over the North side of Dartmoor above about 1200'
amsl, patches of hail lying in the shade at lower levels. Excellent
vis today, Exmoor looks very white in the far distance (with a line of
large Cbs crossing it fm the WSW.

At 1550 light rain shower just passed here (temp 3.8'C)but looking
skywards lots of snowflakes moving towards the ESE aloft. More Cbs
developing to the WSW now, may scupper my outdoor tennis this evening!
