The sun/wind did not get to work on the St cloud here today as
forecast. So far overcast and cool all day in a light NE'ly then SW'ly wind with visibility around 3km in Haze. Maximum temperature of only 9.9'C compared with 16.5'C yesterday in clear afternoon skies. Looking at the Sat24.com visible satellite loop (up to 1600UTC) the St cloud is clearing but appears to be stalling over Sussex. Regards Richard Griffith Horsham AWS |

After a glorious blue skies Wednesday, two days of thick mirk off the North Sea with temperatures hovering around the 5-6 C mark here in East Yorkshire. |

Same here in East Kent. Yesterday, and most of today, was 'orrible. No mention of yesterday's weather on the R4 forecast -- just for sea fog in the NE; they always seem to forget we get it here too. |
