Default June: warm AND DRY!

Against all odds.there was no measurable rainfall here in the
last week of June despite all the thundery activity in adjacent areas,
so my monthly total remains at 28mm, 34% of the long term average, and
only six 'rain days'

Temperatures were 1.8c above the long term average, so a pleasant
month, only spoiled by expecting thunderstorms during the last week,
which didn't happen!

Hi Tom

Same here at Bracknell, 24.4mm for June, only 1.0 mm 15th-30th - so where are you, Tom?

Roy, I am at Clitheroe Lancs, only a few miles from Stonyhust,
whose records I have going back to 1848 for rainfall and 1872 for
temperatures. Stonyhurst though is about 100ft higher in elevation,
so direct comparisons are a bit dubious.
