Just a friendly question from a near founder member. What exactly is this
Dawlish thing about? Could someone spell it out for me because I seemed to have missed it and it's getting on my nerves. Yes he does write long posts, possibly he can be a bit arrogant and maybe I don't agree with everything he says. But, he's not alone is he over the years and he seems to attract some kind of collective abuse. As I say, he must have done something really bad down the line that I missed. The good thing and strength of this group, in my opinion, is that we do get a few whacky people, or we all say something that is considered controversial by someone, but they are either ignored or confronted but in most cases forgiven. Dave Yes, we get wacky ones such as Lawrie Jenkins and Weatherlawyer who are both a bit barmy at times but are no problem. But rude, overbearing bullies who try to convince you they know a good deal more than they do are more of a problem and I'm surprised and saddened that the difference is not immediately apparent to you. Tudor Hughes, Warlingham, Surrey I must say I have admired his efforts against the screaming cacophony of anti-AGW voices, especially the foul-mouthed abusive ones that seem to pop up whenever Christainsen posts - it's difficult (for me, anyway) not to respond to them in kind. About other matters I'd prefer to forget the past, as I pushed my own luck too far. |
