Office (and others) have certainly retracted from the forecast they gave earlier in the week. The sunny weather for most regions apart from N.W. Scotland were supposed to enjoy from mid-week never materialised here in N.Lancs. I always thought that the high was the wrong ' shape', and that cloud and occasional drizzle would come in here on the long westerly fetch. Only one or two glimpses of sunshine all week. 54mm of rain so far this month, of which 50mm fell in the first eight days, but a rather dismal month. |
