........and you've failed yet again (24 times being asked is quite
unbelievable Lawrence) to explain what you feel Antarctic sea ice has
to do with your left field ideas about GW!

Bit like you claiming to know all about baroclinic leaf cyclogenesis yet
making a ricket of it as you also did claiming the midday summer sun didn't
cause sunburn. You either go so quiet when you make mistakes, or abuse
other posters.

I should say he reminds me of a funeral hearse driver I once knew who had no
sense of direction -he kept losing the plot.

Back to the plot Lawrence; don't try to draw succour from this stalker
who *only* posts on here to try to have a go at me. He has no use.

The plot and the thread is about Global Sea ice; would you mind giving
your views on the link between Antarctic Sea ice and GW?

.....other than to point out your many failings and pomposity. You bring
discredit to both Ofsted and Torbay Council by your behaviour in this news
group paticularly when you post from your workplace.

Just a snaphot, but as it is almost exactly half-way through the

But nowhere near halfway through in the Arctic yet, surely? I thought
that the Arctic sea ice maximum didn't occur till about April in a
normal year.

Know summat? This guy is as pompous in real life as he is here. I've
had quite a few emails from him over the years. Wonder if he
recognizes this first line of one he sent out about 3 months ago?

The periods of remission never seem to last very long, do they?
What's happened this time is that that vomiting pen of his has just
got a new refill and it's your turn to be the scribble pad. Serves
you right for having the impertinence to challenge the great man,
especially when you must have known what the response would be. Look
after yourself, mate. Like me, just *never* try to discuss a
technical point with him. Unless you're one of the professionals with
whom he is temporarily trying to curry favour you'll be rubbished,
belittled and bellowed at and it simply ain't worth the candle.

Talk about currying favour, you should see him at local Devon GA
meetings. He's only to see someone with the title "Prof" and he's
sucking up to him.
