Actually from desk at office 1.2 miles away..
rain has started this VP is saying 2.6C dp 1C and bar 998.7 and falling rapidly Not quite sure when ( or if) it will snow. It seems remarkably mild compared with the overnight low of -6.9C here at 0440 and -7.0 at 0207 at home Very interesting - especially the fall in pressure associated to my eye with the large swirl that seems to be rotating in wales |

Will -- So am I. Those poor folk that live on the moors of the Southwest. Surely it won't clobber us in this SW corner of Devon? Not another leek? Temperature fallen from 4C to 1C now 1630Z. An amazing steady linear fall of pressure on my barograph. 15 mb over the last 24 hrs. Nothing rapid going on here but still exciting. Len Wood Wembury |
