He was chased away by Philip Eden :-(. Even Dawlish couldn't do that.

Cheers, Alastair.

He was not "chased away" by anyone, especially not by Philip. He was
asked to stop politicising his posts to which he took umbrage and
"left". I'm sure Lawrence will post again in his own sweet time - and
he will be reading this, of course. Hello Lawrence! *))

Can't say as I miss him. KF'd him some time ago because of his boring
political rants and libellous remarks about ex-colleagues of mine. I wasn't
too impressed by his "joke" about having degenerative eye disease either.

Did you ever hear that Tommy Cooper joke when he said he'd just won a years
supply of Marmite..one jar !
Come on Lawrence ,read us some of Maggie Thatchers 30 year old diaries in
which she reveals how dangerously left wing she was.

Is that a Victorian carriage of some sort?

He wasn't chased away. He threw his toys out of the pram and then jumped out
after them.

I've been away for a while (up to see mum in frozen NW Durham, Ken)
and I've just noticed this.

Suffice to say that Lawrence is alive and well and entertaining one-
and-all on alt.sports.soccer.everton (amongst other sites).

Treat it as a relaxing break, Lawrence, and I'll be happy to hear more
from you on here when you get back.

- Tom.

BTW, just noticed some reasonably beefy Cu, here over central London.
Haven't seen those for a few weeks now. Makes me feel that April
weather is just around the corner(no, probably not).
