Good one. I suspect the notes will be very soggy Sunday.

I am more than a little concerned here because of a lot of surface
runoff coming off the hills behind me so I am actually looking at
sandbags plus heaving off a man hole cover nearby to relieve pressure.

The reason is the forecast rain for today etc and the fact that new
channels have been naturally cut in the woods for water to flow
towards our row of houses

What a good idea, Jim! Actually, I'll explain: 'Grey' refers to my hair;
'dry' is the white wine I keep in the ATM; 'still' is where I make my
whisky; and 'mild' is my tipple at the pub next door.

(Do they still make/sell mild?)

Oh. And I always thought the last line of your daily report was a
description of the prevailing conditions.
