Isolated sleety showers during the day on a brisk northerly and the maximum temperature was +5.6ºC. Essex was world away clearly :-) Meanwhile, on this day back in 1980. 17cm of snow was lying in Wishaw at 9am from several accumulating snowfalls throughout the previous week. The overnight minimum was -7.2ºC. The maximum of 4.2ºC was the highest temperature for eight days! |

Depth on 23rd, Easter Sunday, was 12cm with fresh fall 6cm 09Z. Day max 4.4C min-1.5C sun 5.8hr rain (snow converted) 4.0mm, 8.3mm day before when there was max gust 40KT and blowing snow.
