Still 100% cover on ground over 200m locally, the snow melted away at this
lower site yesterday.
Some parts of Eastern Lanarkshire had received over 25cm of snow by
yesterday morning, which drifted considerably in exposed areas. Sadly these
conditions contributed to the tragic accident that most of you will have
heard about involving a local school coach trip.
