Horrible white plague blowing about in the air outside. Dusting on the cars,
and all over the big wet patch on the road from where the water board
repaired a leak to the mains earlier. That will be lethal later, just when
the early shift exit the estate in a couple of hours. Temperature
fluctuating somewhat.

20:00 = +1C
22:00 = +3C
01:00 = -1C
02:45 = +1C

Also heard on radio that it is snowing heavily in Weedon, about 10 miles NW
of here.

Dusting of snow, and a hard frost here. I think the snow has frozen, I
haven't ventured out yet.

Nothing in Dawlish, would you believe? But with the look of those
charts over the next few days, there's a chance of seeing some white

First heavy snow round here experienced around Newcastle ~6pm last night
and then overnight most of North Yorkshire got a covering of 1-2" on the
low ground. Much more higher up on the moors. Airtemp now 0.9C. Fairly
heavy intermittent snow showers are around and about.

Roads mostly passable with care - a lot of slush on minor roads.
A19 had a rush hour crash due to bad driving today
