Well worth looking at http://www.climate-uk.com/ as well as the link you
already should have which is Philip Eden's website. he is not too impressed
with the way the Met office is acting as a custodian of the series.

Yep. And his version of the CET is given he

Only from 1971, but there isn't any dispute about the value prior to the
