Default Over-egging it?

Just wonder if the lunch-time weather forecast is over egging it when
they are saying up to 5cms of snow here ( Renfrewshire area)later this
pm...........any thoughts......Alex..................????

Sorry I didn't read your post til fairly late on Elizabeth. Radar
looks quite potent and with temperatures only a degree or two above
zero in Renfrewshire I'm guessing they have it right for you? Heavy
wet snow per-chance?
I'm sure it's lying in higher areas, if not at your location.

We've had some light snow here this evening, but the ground is
currently wet. Air temp +0.8șC. Not much sign of any heavier
precipitation making it into Lanarkshire, so I doubt we'll have any
cover in Wishaw.
It'll be back by the weekend though, no doubt!
